boAt Ultima Prime Smartwatch with AMOLED Display and Bluetooth Calling

Strap on the boAt Ultima Prime and the first thing you notice is the screen waking up before you’ve even finished turning your wrist — that 1.43-inch AMOLED display with its 466 × 466 resolution just sits there looking sharper than it has any right to at this price. Icons render clean, text doesn’t blur at the edges, and outdoors it holds up reasonably well, though direct noon sun still makes you squint a little, same as most AMOLED panels.

Calls From Your Wrist

The Bluetooth calling feature is the part you’ll actually lean on more than expected. Dialing from the watch face feels slightly odd the first time, then becomes routine — useful when your phone’s buried in a bag or charging in the next room. Connection via BLE 5.3 stays fairly stable, no awkward drop-offs mid-sentence.

Tracking Without Obsessing

Health monitoring runs quietly in the background — heart rate, SpO₂, stress and sleep all logged without needing to open anything. With 100+ sports modes, it covers the usual runs and cycles, plus a surprising number of niche workouts you’ll likely never use but appreciate having. Turn-by-turn navigation and camera and music control round things out nicely for errands or hikes.

Built for the Long Haul

IP68 water resistance means you stop thinking about it near sinks or in light rain — you don’t notice it until you need it. Battery life is where it earns its keep: up to 4 days of regular use, stretching to 7 days on standby, so the charger doesn’t become a daily ritual. The metal-coated middle frame adds a bit of heft without feeling clunky, and the silicon or metal band options let you dress it up or down. Pairing happens through the boAt Crest app, and it works across Android 7.0+ and iOS 14.0+ without much fuss. Emergency SOS and Find My Phone sit quietly in the background too, the kind of features you forget about until the one day you genuinely need them.
